Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a basic room that could benefit from modernization but is dark and stuffy upon arrival. The service is efficient with friendly staff, although some facilities are hidden. The location is lovely with a duck pond outside the balcony, perfect for exploring the NW area of Tasmania. The dining experience ranges from awful to very nice, with some dishes near perfection.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The 2 bed 2 bath unit overlooking the lake was more than adequate, and even though the ducks on the lake surprised me in the morning, the overall experience was comfortable and warm. The rooms were basic but had everything I needed for a cozy stay, and they were spacious and nice and warm.
My stay at Tall Timbers was a delightful experience. The rooms, although initially stuffy and musty, turned out to be well-appointed and cozy, certainly better than depicted in the photos. The fabulous restaurant and food made the stay truly enjoyable, and I would happily recommend this place to anyone seeking a nice place to stay.
